​​From early beginnings with an eye cast towards the east, with a natural feel for the mystical and with a deep approach to martial arts in general, life’s path laid out before me.

​

Learning and practicing various forms in different countries, teaching self-defence to those with foreign tongues, learning to step back from the one who couldn’t be defeated, the western Ego. The mid nighties found me in the middle east, where I met a Chinese doctor, and having discovered we had much in common, became friends.

 

He tucked me under his wing, and with purity of mind, introduced me to Qi Gong, the Chen and Yang style forms of Tai Chi. On returning to the UK, I met up with a Wing Chun instructor who also taught Yang style long form, and my teachings continued. Being an only child I had always been comfortable with the role of a sole practitioner,  and the flow of Tai Chi was no different. In more recent times, with the flame lengthened, I became reintroduced to the classroom environment. Inspired by the oneness of the absolute, I had taken an oath to pass on the knowledge of various lifetime practices.
